Brazwells Premium Pub

631 South Main Street
Greenville, SC 29601
Hours: Mon-Sun 11a.m. to 2 a.m.

One of Main Street’s newer eateries, Brazwells mixes casual dining, more than a score of flatscreens and a full bar to arrive at something that, at first glance, one might be tempted to characterize as another sports dive. That just isn’t so. Heck, you don’t even need to like sports to appreciate the varied menu and warm atmosphere. Think of it more as a great place to hang out, eat DSC03291and watch some sports, if you are so inclined.

The main room is dominated by a bar running along the right-hand side. High-top tables occupy the room’s far end; while five booths capable of seating six to eight people line the left wall. Two more long high-top tables separate the bar from the booths. Guests looking for a quieter experience may request the smaller dining room to the right of the front door.

Although its selection of liquors and beers is typical of the majority of Main Street’s restaurants and pubs, the bar staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Beer prices run from $3.50 for popular domestics like Bud Light to $6 and $7 for some craft selections. Certainly well beyond the average sports bar’s standards, the wine list hosts a total of nearly 20 bottles of whites and reds priced from $24 to $85. Many are available by the glass with prices ranging from $7 to $14.

DSC03290A nod to the sports-watching crew, wings are available in one- ($9), two- ($16) and five- ($40) pound portions with the choice of several sauces. Apps run from Fried Pickles at $6 to Seared Sesame Tuna at $12. Brazwells concocts its own dressings which can be drizzled on any of its many salads. Prices begin at $6 for a mixed salad to $12 for Sweet Salmon Salad.

Any of the sandwiches can be turned into a wrap for no extra charge. Sandwich prices range from $9 for Spicy Buffalo Chicken to $12 for Seared Tuna. Seven different burgers are offered at $10 a pop. A dozen dinner-type entrees include Mama’s Meatloaf ($12), Fish & Chips ($14), BBQ Chicken ($12) , Pork Chop ($19) and NY Strip Steak ($25).

There are $9 lunch specials every weekday and a Brunch menu, including eggs, waffles and so forth, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Located just north of the Reedy on Main Street, Brazwells offers outdoor as well as and indoor seating.
